Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or booking system. By accessing or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions, including our Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy.
iSwim Academy is dedicated to providing a safe and high-quality learning experience in swimming. Our qualified instructors focus on building confidence, teaching essential aquatic skills, and promoting lifelong water safety for both children and adults. We aim to create a welcoming, inclusive and well-structured environment. All parents, guardians and swimmers are expected to familiarise themselves with and follow these Terms and Conditions.
Booking a course or camp and making a payment constitutes your acceptance of these terms. If you disagree with any section, please do not proceed with registration or participation.
CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT
At iSwim, during regular courses, we use a Continuous Assessment model combined with a monthly subscription system.
This flexible approach allows for ongoing progress without waiting for term-based changes.
Here's how it works:
- Monthly Payments: You pay month by month, in advance – no need to commit to an entire 3–4-month term.
- Ongoing Progress: The swimmers are continuously assessed. Once they’re ready to move up, the system will notify you, and you can book the next level immediately – no need to wait for a new term.
- Flexible Enrolment: You can join anytime throughout the year. No need to wait for a new session to begin.
Email subscription is mandatory.
This allows us to keep you informed with:
- Payment confirmations
- Class reminders
- Cancellation alerts
If a payment deadline is missed, the swimmer’s spot will be automatically released and could be taken by another family. This process is automated and cannot be reversed.
Note: System emails may include promotional content. Unfortunately, we cannot separate promotional emails from essential notifications
BOOKING CONDITIONS
- Mid-Month Enrolments – You may enrol at any point during the month. If you join mid-month, you will be charged only for the remaining classes in that month. From the following month, billing will resume on the standard monthly cycle.
- Please feel free to email us with any specific needs before booking. You may provide any relevant information prior to enrolling.
- All bookings are confirmed via email and are only final once full payment and swimmer registration details have been received.
- Bookings for children must be made by a parent or legal guardian. All contact details provided must be valid and reachable.
- Providing an incorrect date of birth may put your child at risk and will result in removal from the course/camp without a refund of the deposit. The date of birth is required for safety and emergency purposes. A €15 administration fee will apply, with the remaining balance refunded where the class start date is more than 14 days away. No refund of the deposit will be issued where the course/camp starts within 14 days.
- If a booking is made by someone other than a parent or legal guardian, iSwim Academy reserves the right to cancel the booking. A €15 administration fee will apply, with the remaining balance refunded where the class start date is more than 14 days away. No refund of the deposit will be issued where the course/camp starts within 14 days.
- Enrolment is made for a specific day and time. iSwim Academy reserves the right to assign participants to appropriate groups, combine classes with low attendance, adjust class times, or replace instructors where necessary. Groups will commence once at least half of the participants plus one has enrolled.
PAYMENT AND DISCOUNTS
- Full payment is required to confirm a class booking. Payment confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- In case of regular courses payments are made monthly, in advance, and are based on the number of scheduled sessions for that month, plus once-off deposit (30€)
- Charges for the upcoming month are raised on or around the 15th of the current month and must be paid no later than the 1st day of the following month.
- All families are required to keep a valid debit or credit card on file and consent to automatic recurring billing via the iClassPro system. Card details may be securely stored within the iClassPro software. This helps ensure timely payments and reduces the need for manual follow-up.
- We accept debit and credit card payments. Please ensure your card is enabled for two-factor authentication, as payments may fail otherwise.
- A one-off refundable deposit of €30 per swimmer is required upon first enrolment. This deposit will be refunded when courses are cancelled in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The deposit may be forfeited where payment obligations are not met.
- Failure to make payment by the due date will result in the swimmer being removed from the course or camp, and the deposit will be retained. The place may then be offered to another swimmer on the waiting list.
- Example payment schedule:
- If your child starts lessons on 1 April, payment (including the once-off deposit) must be completed before that date.
- An invoice for May lessons will be issued around 15 April.
- If payment is not received by 1 May, the child’s place will be released, and the deposit will be forfeited.
- Available discounts:
- 10% sibling discount for the second and each additional child enrolled in regular courses.
- 10% sibling discount for additional children enrolled in intensive group swim camps.
- 20% discount for the second day enrolment in regular courses.
- Discounts for an additional child for regular private lessons and intensive private lessons are specified in the “Prices” section on our website.
- Promotional or “Quick Sale” discounts may be offered from time to time.
- Where a swimmer is enrolled in lessons twice per week on different days, and the monthly fee for each day differs due to the number of scheduled sessions in that particular month, the 20% second-day enrolment discount will always be applied to the lower of the two monthly fees.
- Discounts cannot be combined. While multiple discounts may appear within the booking system, all discounts are reviewed manually. Any ineligible discounts will be removed, and any changes will be communicated by email.
ASSESSMENTS
- Where a level assessment is required, it must be completed before booking any regular courses or swim camps. Any booking made prior to a required assessment is made at the parent’s own risk.
- If regular course or a swim camp is booked before the assessment and the swimmer is later found to be not ready, incorrectly placed, unable to participate, or if no suitable place is available, the following conditions apply:
- If the booking is cancelled 14 or more days before the start date, a €15 administration fee will be charged.
- If the booking is cancelled with fewer than 14 days’ notice, the once-off €30 deposit will be retained and is non-refundable, as the place was reserved and held for the swimmer.
- Administration fees and retained payments cover administrative and booking costs and are non-refundable.
- If, following an assessment by iSwim Academy, a swimmer is found not to be ready for the booked regular course or swim camp and a suitable alternative class is available, the booking may be transferred or credited.
